Granite Ridge Construction Certification
A demonstration of Odona for Moodle, showing a fictional construction certification body: contractors enrol their crews, workers earn certificates, and every certificate travels as a QR card that a site inspector can scan at the gate. Built by Dragonfly EdTech.
How it works
For contractors
Certifications
Certified crews, verified at the gate.
Competent person, rigging, confined space, scaffold and supervisor certification for construction contractors. Enrol your crew, track every certificate and its expiry in one place, and let any site inspector confirm a worker's certification by scanning the QR card on their badge.
Construction safety certification
Enrol your crew
Contractors buy seats on a certificate for a team and assign them to their workers. Every worker's progress shows on the company dashboard.
Earn the certificate
Online coursework, then a hands-on practical assessment at a training centre. Pass both and the certificate is issued with its expiry date.
Carry a QR card
Every certificate comes with a QR card. Show it on a phone or print it onto a hard-hat sticker or a lanyard badge.
Verify on site
Inspectors scan the card at the gate and see at once whether the certificate is valid, when it expires, and what else the worker holds.
Your company, your crew
Every contractor is an organization with its own members and roles. A safety manager runs the crew, sees every certificate they hold and verifies them on site.
A team per job site
Group the crew into teams, one per job site or shift, each tied to the site's location. Every team has its own progress report, and its members share a group in each course.
Buy seats, hand them out
Buy a block of seats on any certificate for a team and assign them as people join. Unused seats stay in the team's pool until someone needs one.
